On the other periphery: a fleeting notice from (Jerry) endorsing you. The license is addressed from (Jerry) and sent to people he knows and likes . . . people who know & syndicate him.
This overheads you next to nothing, and will make referrals for you and Jerry both. embrace Jerry’s picture above his notice, and this license will live on his supporter’s counter or refrigerator indefinitely. People don’t pitch away licenses with their supporters’ films in them.
stage FIVE: pitch just 2 unexpected licenses a year (Thank You, Congratulations, ecstatic New Year **, anything) to each consumer, vendor, and systeming friend in your folder.
** I sent ecstatic New Year’s licenses this year — with pelt’s 2007 Resolutions . . . colossal Hit !!! some in-skirt telephone calls, regularly initial with “merit for the license, I’ve been value to call you . . .”
closing TIP: If you periodically focus those more common systeming actions (like Chamber and Association meetings) — you can (and should) let the other guise do all the chatting. All you should is their guests license after the conversation. (Sometimes I’ll write a little notice on the back — one certain thing from the conversation.) pitch them a “finicky reunion” you license. Again, precious few in your topic or any other do this. embrace your picture, and you’ll be amazed at the retort.
